FRAXEL RE:STORE LASER TREATMENT
Fraxel Restore Laser Treatment makes use of an Erbium glass laser that is passed several times over the treatment area causing fractional resurfacing with a million points of light. The laser causes microscopic wounding and the presence of normal tissue around the wounds allows for faster healing and minimal to no downtime. There is a sensation of heat similar to that of a sunburn and the treated area will be red and swollen which may last for several hours to 2-3 days. This procedure helps improve the appearance of acne scars.
