FRAXEL
The Fraxel dual has both an Erbium glass 1550 nm laser and a Thulium 1927 nm laser. The Erbium glass laser works well to improve pigmentation while the Thulium improves skin texture and evens out skin color as well. These two lasers may be used either separately, or together, depending on the skin problem of the patient.
Topical cream anesthesia is applied to alleviate any discomfort and patients are advised to prevent sun exposure when undergoing treatments. Multiple sessions are required to achieve best results and treatments are spaced 3-4 weeks apart.
