Lipolite

What is Lipolite?

Lipolite is an effective treatment that makes use of the Vela Smooth medical device, to improve the appearance of cellulite and effectively recontour the skin’s surface and body shape.

How does Lipolite work?

Lipolite treatment uses of the revolutionary ELOS technology, developed by Syneron, combining a bi-polar radiofrequency and infrared light energies with the added feature of tissue mobilization using a deep tissue massage. These 3 treatment modalities work hand-in-hand to safely and effectively improve cellulite and recontour the skin surface.

How does Lipolite affect the fat layer?

The treatment allows heat to be delivered deep into the fat layer causing certain biochemical reactions that help soften and eliminate hardened fat as well as contract the collagen fibers which result in skin tightening.

What areas of the body can be treated?

The most common areas treated are the abdomen, upper arms, hips and thighs.

How often should you do the treatment? How long are the treatment sessions?

Ideally, the treatment is done 2 to 3 times a week for a minimum of 12 sessions. Each session lasts about 30 minutes. Additional treatments may be needed even after the first 12 sessions. Eventually, maintenance may be done on a monthly basis.

Is the procedure painful?

The Lipolite treatment is relatively painless. It is easy, comfortable and well tolerated by majority of patients. It requires no downtime. It feels like a “relaxing deep heating massage”.

Can it be combined with other treatments?

It can be combined with Mesolipo for more maximized results.
