This type of liposuction uses laser heat to dissolve or liquefy the fat, making it easier to suction out and resulting in less bruising for the patient. The laser pulses are released through a fiber-optic tip, which is inserted into the fat layer of the skin via a thin cannula.
The Belo 360° Liposuction is a signature method of fat removal that is not limited to one area. Procedure is done in a circumferential manner where parts surrounding the problem area are also targeted and addressed for a more streamlined look.
During the process, the heat from the laser seals the blood vessels, making the procedure less bloody. This heat also helps stimulate contraction of the overlying skin for a tightening effect. Afterwards, suctioning can be done via a small cannula. Please note that if the patient prefers not to do suction after, the procedure will only be 30% effective.
What it targets:
Areas with excess fat, such as the belly, upper arms, upper thighs and buttocks, and back
The procedure is done under twilight sedation and lasts for two to four hours, depending on the area being treated. You will notice a significant change in your body after a few days and recovery is generally quicker. The area treated will continue to get smaller as the skin contracts even more, so you’ll see even more changes after six weeks, when most of the swelling is gone. Best results are usually seen after three months (or four months, without suctioning).
